I enjoyed this ep. Got to see some of Clarks future and some possibilities there of which were touched on previously.

Keeping Adam's stuff close to the vest, though. More questions.

Pa Kent!

What was it? A heart attack? I know my dad was conscious when he had one - but only for like the first few seconds. *shrugs*

But the little preview of next week's episode didn't drop any hints on what happenes the Pa Kent.

*grumbles, hating loose ends at the end of a show*

Through a screwup, I managed to record the first 10 minutes of Enterprise, rather than Smallville. So I really didn't see Clark's future.

So, anyone want to post on what was seen by Jordan?

Border of outerspace and our atmosphere.

Light, clouds.

Field of red, yellow on red.

Yellow takes a shape, a symbol seems to be seen in that shape.

Go past, face the void again.

More info than you asked for if you want it...

Later Jordan comments that it seemed as if Clark...

...did not have an end as rest of us do. Which is what I meant by the possibilities mentioned earlier in the series, ie, will Clark die of 'natural causes'.

Clarks future 'a cape in the wind', it was a fantastic image.

A very good show in with Clark thinks about using his powers in changing destiny, outcome of actions.

Adam Knight, they are keeping tight on that one but still think Bruce Wayne.

OK, so I've missed the last mumble mumble episodes, who is this Adam dude, and why is he sleeping up above the coffee shop?

IIRC, Lana met Adam when she was in therapy for her leg. Lana develops feelings for him and it appears that he's manipulating her feelings for him. He kind of guilts her into saying she wants him to stay when he could return to Metropolis now that his therapy is over. I'd say the guilt carries over so she lets him stay in this room above the Talon. He doesn't seem to be able to remember his past but can do martial arts, hack into computers and can play the piano like a master.

Did any one else thing that Pa Kent's collapsing has to do with the price Jor-El demanded when he gave Pa super powers to save Clark when he was going nuts in Metropolis?

I no longer think that, Lex has his school records and talked to teachers etc...I am thinking he is just a bad maniplative dude with really bendy eyebrows--freakishly so....

Yes, but Lex also said that the teachers said the same thing, almost as if they had been told to say it. It is possible that Adam Knight is a person on paper only.

I really liked what the kid said about Adam. He mentioned that he thought that Adam was already dead.

Didn't Bruce Wayne die inside when his parents were murdered? He never really lived after that. Vengeance and anger were his bread and butter....

I think they are leaving things open. He could be Batman or he could not. The writers are being really vague.

Luckily, we get to see more of Adam in the next episode.

As for the father, I figured that death was the price he paid for those super powers. We all know that his father has a heart attack and dies and that is when Clark leaves to create the Fortess of Solitude and begin his destiny.

Anywho, even his father said "not yet" while he was dying. He knows that he will die. I feel sorry for Martha Kent.
