Smallville - Visage [SPOILERS]

Didn't hate it, didn't love it. Standard mid-season fair as far as I'm concerned. They will get better.

I dug the Lex stuff (as usual) the most out of anything. He needs more screen time. :D

Lex definitely needs more screen time. They hsould realize that they won't get 9 seasons out of this show and should start progressing Clarks powers and Lex's growth.

Lana is really irritating me now. If I were Clark, I'd want nothing to do with the girl.

Well, it's not like Clark is thinking with the head on his shoulders where Lana is concerned...and just think, we get to see it all over again when he meets Lois :)

In fact, that's what I want the end of the season ender to be about.. what? Not this year, but next, when they should be graduating from high school.

The cliff-hanger threat has been dealt with, etc, and Clark and Lana go to Metropolis University to enroll in their first classes. They've finally reconcilled their differences, Lana knows about Clark's powers, they're planning a future together... then Clark bumps into this beautiful brunette while both are trying to get the last slot for the journalism class they need. The episode ends when she offers her hand. "Glad to meet you, Smallville. I'm Lois Lane."

The character of Lana is supposed to be the same as the one from Superman III (she was played by Annette O'Toole, who plays Martha Kent in Smallville). I don't remember seeing that movie, so I don't know what the deal with her was there. Will they bother sticking with comic-book and movie canon and moving on to Lois?

I don't think Lois is going to be involved on the show in anything more than a passing role, if any. Just like the suit, we won't see him in the suit according to the producers until the final ep, if that. Clark meets Lois when they are older. I don't recall them meeting in college but then again, I am not up on my Superman canon. ;)
