Lorcan casts his eye over the mules, looking for a healthy, happy looking creature. Once he's picked out a suitable one, he makes his way over to the man tending to the mules.

"How much are they?" He asks.

Horros
"Let's see... 18 gold for the flail, hundred for the scimitar, and twenty for the sword... hundred and ten golds, and they're all yours."

A look through shows Lorcan that he could pick any of the mules and get a good beast of burden. But are they worth their price...
"Morning to you..." The man looks you up, before continuing. "Ten golds and you can pick yours, fifteen and you'll also get saddle packs."
To Haplo he adds. "I know that that", he says, pointing to Tserof, "is one, but that's about it."

Horros pauses for a moment to think. She's practically ripping herself off again! Well I won't argue about a good price. Especially since we went through that once already, and she seems to know what's she's doing.

Finally he says, "Deal." After which he takes a total of ten platinum pieces and ten gold pieces from his pouch, and gives them to her.

Samantha takes the coins from you with a smile. "Want to know a secret? Every smith prices their wares at least 15% over their value. It gives a little haggling room, and makes you seem all the nicer when you drop your price for somebody."

"Fifteen gold then, as I'm sure we'll find a use for the saddle packs." Lorcan says flippantly, pointing out a mule to the man.

"Do you sell feed suitable for this animal, and our mounts? If so, I'd like to buy a fortnight's supply for all of our horses and the mule."
