Sure life can kick you in the crotch so hard it makes you wanna puke but you know what kiddo? after thirty or forty years of it you'll get used to it.

Seriously I joke. I am a joke maker.

How about we start a collection to buy you a puppy or something? Keep in mind how poor we all, so when you get a one-eyed, three-legged puppy with gonorrhea dont be too upset with us OK?

I go outside for less than 5 minutes everyday! Im bored out of my mind! 4 tv channels thats all we get. Its Oprah and Regis everyday! Im going insane!

So suck it up lil buck-a-roo that puppy will be in the mail tomorrow!

but um. thanks for the puppy....i dont need one. couldnt afford to feed it and have it propperly taken care of anyway.

life is good

For the past 6 + months I have been deployed to the middle east. My wife has to deal with our two kids, plus the four children she babysits to make extra money. My son's 4th birthday is in 10 days and my participation will total a birthday card I sent a few days ago, if it gets there in time.

But all in all, life is not too bad. I am able to email and phone my wife a lot more than some other guys over here and that has really helped. We have an AC in my tent so it doesn't get much over 100 degrees during the day and is downright chilly at night.

We have a decent dining facility and recently we even got ice cream! That was a big boost to morale.

I'm able to check out this site every other day when I'm on shift and I really enjoy reading most of these posts. Some of them make me laugh out loud, which is a rare a good thing.

I'm getting promoted to Sergeant in September.

Sometimes the webcam works so I've actually been able to see my boys and they have seen me. My wife says this has been really good for them.

So I'll say that things are pretty good.

I had my first job that paid decent money this summer, and I'm entering my final (or we'll see ) year at university in a couple of weeks.

Our Banewarrens campaign is back in business after the summer, and it's looking good.

My month has been pretty good, ArthurQ...

My grandparents visited at the beginning of the month and got to see their four great-granddaughters and celebrate their birthdays.

My mother turned 53.

I turned 33.

My wife gave me two Forgotten Realms novels and Ghostwalk for my birthday.

One of my gamers gave me the 3.5 Dungeon Master's Screen after Dragon didn't send me issue #310.

I should have another article out in Dragon #313.

I got Midnight's Terror in the mail yesterday from the wonderful Mark Plemmons at Kenzer and Co.

My car got fixed.
