So Int does NOT add to skills

Hum, I realise that the halfling is equipped with a short sword, and do 1d6 base damage, not 1d4.

I suppose that the wepon sizes from 3.5 has been scrapped, and we're back to universal weapon sizes as in 3.0.

And there was much rejoicing throughout the land.

Seriously, is there any question that this was the most poorly thought-out change in 3.5?

Just as a side point, but I believe that there is a significant chance that there will be rituals available to non-spellcasters. These might very well be tied into skills such as Religion and Arcana, which could allow a highly intelligent fighter who takes a feat to become skilled in Arcana to learn some rituals. Just a thought.

Wasn't it said somewhere that the PHB will have 150 feats? Hopefully in that number there are a few feats a fighter would get benefit from that require int.

I would rather see each class get the most benefit from their prime (so a fighter would get very little benefit from high cha or int) and have feats that play to the less necessary high stats (so if you decide you want to play a high int fighter, he has a few different feat selections than the player with the high cha fighter).

I don't think that class powers and standard class abilities (their ability to be skillful) should be determined by stats that do not help them do anything else.
