There're a couple of combos I'd like to try out.
1) Human Paladin - This, first and foremost. That's my favorite race/class combo, so I'd like to see what changes they've made there, ASAP.
2) Human/Dragonborn Fighter - I'd like to try out a Dragonborn, eventually. Either with the Paladin or, most likely, a Fighter. I'll probably also end up playing a Human Fighter down the line. I'm itching to see what they've got up their sleeves for the 4E Fighter.
3) Tiefling Warlock - Nah, best to keep quiet about my stupid idea lest someone slaps me for it.
4) Dwarf/Human Wizard - I rarely ever play Wizards because I just don't like them. High-level Wizards look interesting, but I never get to that point, because I can't stand to play through the low-levels for Wizards. Come on, one or two magic missiles for the day and then I'm done? Reduced to the equivalent of a Commoner with a Crossbow? That sucks. And I'm not at all keen on the thought of having to play for a couple of levels before I actually get to have some fun. With At Will/Per Encounter/Per Day abilities, though, I never have to worry about that, again. Nor will I ever have to use another damnable Crossbow if I don't want to.
I'm also very fond of the whole orb/staff/wand deal. Finally Wizards who actually look like Wizards should look. And my Staff will finally be something that'll assist me in my magic, like it does for Wizards in other fantasy, rather then just being there so I can make crappy melee attacks with it when I'm out of Crossbow bolts.
Seriously, I can't tell you how UNWizardlike I felt every time I ran out of spells and had to pull out a freakin' Crossbow in order to keep moving. It completely soured me on Wizards for the longest time.
