Toss up between Bard and Druid...but...I'll go with Druid. Mainly because my girlfriend always refused to play a Druid because she knew a guy that was a 'real' Druid who died when she was little. She absolutly refused to play a Druid, even though she's the kind of person that would be perfect for it...I showed her the Revised Druid and got a "Ooooooooooooooh". So maybe we'll actually have a Druid in one campaign now. :)

The wizard classes.

Of all the changes I've heard so far I think the spell rebalancing will have the greatest positive impact on our game. I'm not entirely happy with them all to be sure, but they're definitely an overall improvement.

A'koss.

Bard and Druid are both cool, but the original 3.0 Ranger was so messed up in so many people's minds that the 3.5 change isn't just cool, it's a godsend.

I voted Ranger. I would have voted Sorcerer, had they received UMD as class skill, as Andy Colins lobbied for. As for Bards, yeah, they're better, but they're still inferior to the Cleric as:

1) fighters,
2) magic users,
3) supporting characters.

So...

Well, I'll blow Kai's mind and say Ranger.

It still isn't what I'd have made for a Ranger and the combat paths are a bad idea, but it is a very cool class and it fills a niche that's been empty. I'm very much looking forward to trying one.

Not in every way. I don't very much like the fragmentation of spells: no one buff spell, but six; no longer one emotion spell, but four; no rock-to-mud/mud-to-rock spell but two different spells. It increases the number of spells quite artificially, taking more room in the book and reducing versatility rather than firepower.

Voted Ranger mostly because while it too a HD hit, it's certainly become a much more rounded character class AND it make sense to take beyond 2-5 levels worth. But I don't expect to use all the 3.5 rules. But definately the improved Bard, Ranger and Monk and possibly druid will be involved.
