I must be one of the very few people here who isn't really bothered by 5-10 extra minutes of commercials. The day my brain can't entertain me for a few minutes while my eyes take a rest is the day I turn it in for an overhaul.
Anyway, movie theatre employees from usher to executive work hard everyday to bring you a special experience do so because they love movies and not because they make a dime off of it.
Now, this may be wrong for where you work, but all the theaters I've known(both here in G'ville and up in north Georgia where I used to live) are staffed by high school/college students who just need money and don't want to get stuck at a fast food place or a grocery store.
