So you went to Gen Con (or not), what other cons do you attend?

I went to GenCon Europe when it was in London a couple of years ago, otherwise Dragonmeet for RPG and sometimes the wargames conventions like Salute.

One day I'll get over to GenCon Indy.

Pretty much every California comic convention, most of them multiple times.

I haven't been to a gaming convention since high school, when one of my friend's fathers started up one in Crystal City, outside DC. I think it only lasted a few go-rounds before dying horribly. I only went to it myself because it was around New Year's and was the only way I could stay out during the holiday at that point.

I go to GenCon and Origins every year (for the past 5 years) and GenCon I have been going to for about 10. I have been to DragonCon before and I have been to Magnum Opus Con (which I think was in South Carolina - its been over ten years). I would like to go to Sandiego Comic Con and Wizard Con in Chicago soon but this year I may just go to the aforementioned Mid Ohio Comic Con.

I play RPGA games a lot so I tend to go to RPGA centered conventions within a few hours drive from Detroit. I've also attended PentaCon and UCon which are general gaming conventions in Ft. Wayne, IN and Ann Arbor, MI.

I've been to DragonCon in the past too. Don't think I'll make it this year cause of my expenses.

I've been to 9 Gen Cons, but never to any other gaming conventions The only other conventions I've attended at all were a couple of local comic conventions.

To me it just seems like any smaller gaming convention would be a disappointment compared to the spectacle of Gen Con.

I go to Origins in addition to Gen Con. I might get talked into Winter Fantasy this year if the LotGR finale is being played there, but even then not sure that will go through....
