Solars too weak?

It just feels wrong for the fiends to have higher Wis and Cha than the solar - even that 1 point in the devil's favor is about 11 points too high (i.e., the solar should have the advantage in these stats, even if not across the board - as it is, the fiend is better across the board).
The USS Enterprise would kick both their butts.

To beat the epic part of a solar's DR, all you need is a +4 good outsider bane weapon. (Or else a +4 lawful or chaotic outsider bane weapon, for CG or LG solars, respectively.)

Granted, this is not a cheap item (72,000 gp + the cost of a mw weapon) but it's not an unreasonably powerful weapon for someone with a high enough level to have even a small fighting chance against a solar.

Come to think of it, +1 good outsider bane (18,000 gp + mw weapon) and a sufficiently strong greater magic weapon spell can suffice as well if circumstances demand it.

'course, the weapon must be evil-aligned as well. But that's a much smaller problem than getting it to +6.

Since we have vile balors and exalted solars, do we also have sidereals?

Spelljammer introduced a dragon that was bigger than the Enterprise... on the order of miles long, IIRC. The Stellar Dragon, was that it?

Definitely a setting with some wacky epic-level beasties. Witchlight Marauder CR, anyone?

Hmm....my DMG says Bane is a +1, did I miss something?

(This makes the Celestial beating stick only 8,000 gp, very reasonable if you're going Angel Hunting.)
