Some rogue ideas/questions

Why give melee basic attacks to a character normally designed to forego good MBAs? Wouldn't it be just as easy to say we make a Dex vs. AC attack when an OA misses? We have an artful dodger in our group now, and the MBAs I grant him as a worlord aren't the best either. Maybe it's just an oversight by WotC?

Yeah, I think it's an oversight by WotC. I think other PPs are better for halfling artful dodgers.

If I really wanted this PP, I'd be on the lookout for future powers that let rogues use dex for their basic attack, or at least an eratta for this paragon path. The other benefits might make up for it if you really like getting first round damage high, or love second chance but I personally like PP features that are good for more than one round.
