Sorceres get screwed when it comes to SP

First Post
Think about it: They're stuck with just as many SP's as the Wizard, yet the Wizard is supposed to be spending all his time locked up in some tower or academy learning his spells, while the Sorcerer is supposed to have his powers come naturally, leaving all that free time to do other things (like learn skills).

Top that with the fact that Wizards usually put their highest stat into INT, while Sorcerers stick it in CHA, and it just adds to the shafting.

Oh yeah, and Sorcerers don't even have a CHA-based class skill.

SHAFTED I say!

Yea. But you can use the MonteCook version of the Sorcerer, which has d6 HD, 4+ Skill points, and doesn't need Material Components, but a narrower Spell List (some spells are missing enteirely, others have moved to a higher level).

Or you could just hours rule that Sorc's get 4+ skill points and make a couple of things like diplomacy or intimidate class skills.

Or you could realize, that the Sorcerer is really good enough (especially at higher levels)!

Sorcerers get all simple weapons, maybe the time they spent went there?

Well, sorcerers /do/ spend a lot less time learning to be sorcerers than wizards spend learnign to be wizards - years less time, which is why they start as young as 16, while wizards can be in thier thirties before they can start adventuring.

And, a Wizard /does/ spend a lot of time studdying... studying things like Knowledges and spellcraft - which are skills, afterall.

i've seen lines to do something, but never one to not do something.

Hm.. If I asked _that_ way, I would get crowds!

"Who want's to play NO sorcerer?"

"Me!"
"Me, too"
"Count me in, mate!"
"Sure!"
"Here!"
"Yea"

Always get submissions in the hundreds if I ask in barbarian camps or dwarven settlements. :)

I've been waiting in line to NOT get VD. And, well, I don't have VD. So what do I do now? Do I keep waiting in line, for something I've already not got? Why is there a line anyway? If I get out of line, will I get it?

Someone help me, I don't know what to do!!!

*Stay where you are, and wait for the officer who will be around any minute now. Note that we will not be made responsible for any VD you get if you leave the line. Thanks for your attention.*

I wish you hadn't said that. Now I have to pee.

Oh, crap. Now, if I stand here holding it, with my legs crossed or something, am I going to look like I have it?
