With everyone safely past the trap, you take a detailed look at the room. It is large, and hexagonal. A cold fireplace sits in the exact center, presumable for cooking. About 30 tidy straw beds are arranged around the walls.

There are four more exits, three of them curtained. The non-curtained leads towards the east. Of the curtained ones, two propably lead north, and the other may lead approximately north-east.

[sblock=For the dwarves: ]If the 'north-east' exit were to retain its direction, you suspect it would lead, or at least point, towards Orussus.[/sblock]

Expecting more traps, Jack takes a few minutes ot perform a thorough inspection of the other four doorways and the three corresponding curtains.

Farid thinks out loud, "A crossroads, interesting. Would anyone be able to tell where our scaly friends ran off to?"

Veras-Re looks on silently as Jack does his work and Farid asks his question. None of his skills can yet help them in this predicament.

(You're waiting on me. Didn't get around answering yesterday.)

Jack finds traps at two of the curtained tunnels, of similar nature as the first one, but this time they might also skewer a kobold. He does not find traps at the curtained corridor to the northwest, nor at the uncurtained corridor.

Quarion finds tracking in these conditions, with virtually nothing to leave tracks, and hardly any dirt. Garma's sharp nose doesn't have those problems, but all the wolf can pick up is that the uncurtained corridor appears to be the most travelled, followed by the northwest corridor. The other two appear to be hardly travelled, with rarely more than two kobolds using them.

Jack, in a hurry to move on and rejoin the others above, does what he can to secure the two traps... Again, he pulls out his leaden plugs, and wedges them into the deadly orifices.

Farid thinks, "Well, the northeast corridor might go to Orussus. If the kobolds are on their way there, it might be faster to travel overland."
