Thanyvan rides off to the north, and the rest of the group goes to follow the tracks.
A few hours of tracking later, Quarion stops, a clearing in sight. On the clearing, armed kobolds and several humans are visible, with carts covered by blankets nearby. a number of kobold guardians stand at several spots of the clearing, on the guard for attackers.

Planus tries to hide in a place where he can observe what is going on. While generally excitable, he is a hunter at heart and knows that understanding the situation is as important as a true shot. However, he will not settle for a hiding place from which he can not see.

Your estimate is that there are about 16 kobolds on the clearing, some checking the carts, others on the watch. The trees of the forest so far provide acceptable cover.

Veras-Re keeps low to the ground, unconcerned of whether he can see the kobolds or not. He also holds very still. He is not afraid, but neither is he enthusiastic about facing so many opponents.
He looks to Planus, Rika and Quarion, wondering what exactly to do next. His first instincts are to retreat and regroup. The Dwarf was not skilled at stealthy reconaissance. And attacking now looked to be the worst thing to do... at least, not without a Plan of some sort.
