Deep slumber is probably reasonable, since the imp has a 1/day 3rd-level SLA (suggestion).

Stick with the same ability scores as the telperan? Or maybe drop Con by 2, since it has a lesser "+x" on its HD line (and bringing it closer to the imp and quasit scores)?

I dunno about deep slumber. Suggestion is also a third-level spell, but is more out-of-combat focused. This guy can knock out entire parties of the level it's CRed for.

Once per day, a glissan can cast a sleep spell. The spell affects a single creature, without restriction, including those of more than 4+4 HD, any undead, and certain other creatures specifically excluded from the effects of a normal sleep spell (see the spell description and the Monster Manual). Any target is allowed a saving throw; those who are normally subject to sleep spells save at -2.

Why don't we just convert it literally...a unique, single-target sleep effect with no HD limit?

Hmm, I suggest calling it something other than "Sleep", since it affects Undead and other sleep-immune critters. How about "Peaceful Repose", to subtly refer to the gentle repose spell, which affects corpses.

Before I forget, we need to add to all these creatures a note that they can be selected with the Improved Familiar feat as if they were imps or quasits.

How about this?

Peaceful Repose (Su?): Once per day, a glissan can force a single creature, regardless of immunities, to make a DC X Will save or fall asleep for 1d4 minutes (?). This is a mind-affecting sleep effect. Creatures that are normally immune to mind-affecting or sleep effects have a +2 bonus on their saving throw. The save DC is Charisma-based.

Like a telperan, a glissan can polymorph itself into the shape of a human or demi-human child about seven years old. The glissan can also assume the shape of a songbird, a seagull, or a miniature unicorn (2’ high at the shoulder). As a unicorn it becomes AC 4, runs at 24", and strikes with horn and hooves for 1-4/1/1.

songbird = thrush (stats in DMG)?
seagull = use raven stats?

What do do with mini unicorn?

Unfortunately, most of the animals we could base it on (deer, goat, sheep) aren't in the MM.

How about "grounded" or "mind at ease" for the bonus to illusions?
