Speed Racer

Yeah, that's me. I was teetering back and forth deciding to see it or not. Now that movies are $10 a ticket (I remember then they were $5 and I'm not that old), I have to save my money to see something I really want to see, like Indiana Jones and Narnia... And I am sure I am going to get "forced" to see Sex and the City...

Ugh, I hear you. Inflating prices make me feel old too. But for what it's worth, Caspian's great. I managed to go to an advanced screening of the film last night, and there were actually parts where the audience clapped and cheered. As a bigtime Narnia book fan, I liked this one a lot better than the first one. I thought the liberties they took with the book were all appropriate, added to the film without detracting from the book. (Also, doesn't hurt that Ben Barnes/Caspian is awesome.) So yeah -- if you're gonna save your money for a movie, you shouldn't feel bad at all about spending it on Caspian, it's definitely worth it. :)
