Co-producer John Gallo added, "Timothy wanted everything to be right, as the fans' expectations are enormous. Like Peter Jackson with Lord of the Rings, Timothy is a deep fan of The War Of The Worlds. He's been planning to make the movie for decades. The research was grueling and information was sometimes extremely difficult to obtain, such as finding the right class of ship the Thunderchild would have been. But it was worth it. In the end, Tim's vision proved to be right. The movie is detail perfect."

I like the enthusiasm.

One thing I've always wondered about doing the original version of the story... the main protagonist (the first person view in most of the book) is never named... and neither is his brother, another major character, IIRC... what do you suppose they'll name them?

This was the version of the film that I was hoping to see from the very beginning.

I have a big stupid grin right now! :D
