Yeah, I understand that. But do you want wizards to have a list of daily powers that can expand outside of the standard rate (whatever that may be?). Even if they're all (say) level 3 powers, the fact that the wizard can choose from 12 while the fighter still only gets to pick between 3 doesn't seem too even.

I like the flavor that wizards can juggle what they know, that's cool.
I don't like the ability to gain more choices than other classes.

I guess what I'm saying is there are no fighter spellbooks. No way to learn at a faster rate. That's my problem. Not the choices, mind you. Just the rate of gaining new powers.

I'm fairly certain that the standard rate will be, as it has always been, as fast as the wizard can beg, borrow, or steal them.

The wizard will choose from 12 every morning and the fighter gets the same one that he picked when he levelled.
