I'm not particularly a fan of Spider-Man as a character (though also not a hater), but everything about this looks to be huge fun, and the complex, modern visual style is absolutely fantastic. The vast majority of animated movies totally fail to make use of the medium, and instead just emulate either filmed movies, or earlier animated movies, but in 3D, both of which seem, to me, a hideous waste and a failure of imagination.

Anyway looks fantastic and Scary Spiderman 2099 is an interesting take.

Yeah, the best decision to see a movie in 3D I ever made was for Spider-man: Into the Spider-verse. It was unbelievably eye-popping. I'm so bored with mainstream animation styles that something like this is a feast for my starved eyes.

But I get that some people just are not going to vibe with it. It's definitely distinctive.

Fine with animation just not loving what I’m guessing is the plot .enjoyed the first 1 so this will be a free cable sit down for me some day

Man, I hope they finish (re)building the IMAX in my city before this comes out.
This looks visually stunning, much like the first film.
Can't wait!
