Spoilers tag and subscriptions

I just noted that the text of a spoiler came up in a subscription notification email. If it's possible, they should probably be left out, like quoted text is, so that people don't accidentally read spoilers that they don't mean to.
Thanks.

Thomas Heretic and Blackswway may have better info on this, but I don't think it can be, unless they somehow work in a program routine to strip spoiler tag stuff out of a subscription e-mail before it is sent. Otherwise, e-mail clients don't recognize UBB or vbulletin Board Code, so it treats it kinda like an unrecognized HTML tag.

Knowing very little about how the code works, if quoted text is left out (and it is) it seems like it should be easy to also leave out Spoilered text.
If I'm wrong, or it's difficult then forgive me, I just thought it might be helpful.

one way to do that is to ask people to actually put spilers into quotes, that way it is left out of the message...
Just my two cents worth!

are you kidding we can't even get everyone to use the spoiler tags and you want to increase the comlexity of the task? are you insane?
