Spring Attack and AoO's from Reach

This is a point I'm confused on. If I have Spring Attack and I use to attack a creature that had Reach, does that creature get an AoO on me? What if my Spring Attack attack is something that provokes, like an Unarmed Strike or a trip attempt if I don't have the relevant feat or class ab?

Spring attack says that the movement does not provoke attacks of opportunity from the defender, so even if they have a reach weapon, there is no AoO from them. However, spring attack only prevents AoO's from the movement, nothing else. So If I ran up to an Ogre with Spring Attack, and punched him (without Imp. Unarmed Strike) I would be subject to an AoO. Not from the movement, but from the attack.

And if the Ogre has Stand Still, you're in for all sorts of pain.
