i know about solstices and dates and such, but for me spring is a growing season, not sun cycles or calendars.

as per usual, i now announce spring with this:

Here in Erie, PA we set a record high at 76 degrees Fahrenheit on Friday...

and had an inch of snow on the ground when I left for work this morning.

Its nice. I moved down here to Florida from where I lived in Georgia a couple weeks ago....in Georgia, temperatures were in the 30s and cold. It snowed like crazy right after I left. Here in Florida, its in the high 70s and 80s. I LOVED this weather. :)

It was 85ish here in Pomona, CA. All the college girls were out in their swimsuits by the pool.

God, I love living in Southern California. :D

We got a really nice and sunny day today.. in fact we've had quite a few lately here in portland, and the spring flowers, etc are coming out :)
this also means spring skiing :)
