Spycraft 2.0 is OGL... Odd

You're right. My friend flipped through it and couldn't find it. I've never seen the liscense not be the last page of the book. But it's there.

It's a very big book. It took me a few flips through to find it. It's not in the ToC or index.

Well, AEG paid money for the rights to VP/WP when it was closed so they have a specific license to use that direct from WotC besides it being OGC now, and since it's fully open if people want to copy it for other works they can go to Unearthed Arcana, there is no reason to take out the mention (since they'd already paid for the license) and VP/WP is open for anybody who wants it (and people who know enough to think about the OGL almost certainly know about UA).

Maybe they paid for it, I have no idea. But these days it's legal baggage. I thought they would have simplified things by going with the Unearthed Arcana reference. I mean, why have to check that the Star Wars reference is correct in every book when you could just use the OGC in UA?

Since the term wounds and vitality points are clearly OGC these day, unless you were massively altering that part of the system, why does it matter? You can mention W/VP in yor character write-ups, and have character options affect wounds and vitality without referencieng SW, so a third party publisher doesn't need to mention anything else.

(and if you are massively altering the system, that's new matterial anyway )
