Spycraft Adventures?

AEG said that at first they were thinking of doing so. Forgot the reason why they deceided not to, but they did say that you will be able to download some of the adventures they had planned on the website in the resources section. Back to Basics was the first one.

They announced recently that adventures will be licensed to Mystic Eye Games and Thunderhead Games, and that AEG themselves intended to concentrate on the setting/supplement products.

Morrus, is that something new or did you mean FFG licensing the Dragonstar adventures to MEG and THG?

I wonder if there's a problem with AEG licensing anyone else to do Spycraft stuff since the WP/VP and defence bonus rules won't officially be open content until d20 Modern.

Duh! That's me completely misreading the first post and thinking he ws talking about Dragonstar. I need to get my eyes chcked...

I don't have Spycraft with me for an exact quote, but I believe AEG grants permission to use the phrase "compatible with Spycraft" or something similar if you publish something using OGC from the hardcover.

That's pretty cool :)

I'll have to look that over and see if I can find it. Thanks! Hopefully someone from AEG could answer this because I think there is going to be a big demand for such adventures.

From p. 286 of Spycraft, under "The Open Game Content" section, second paragraph:

"AEG would appreciate anyone using OGC material from Spycraft in other OGL works to kindly reference Spycraft as the source of that material within the text of their work."

That means that you could publish (in rpgnow.com, as a pdf) an spies adventure using Spycraft OGL rules and put in the cover Compatible with Spycraft?

I didn't understood that, and I will appreciate if somebody answers the question for me :)

Just to be clear "compatible with Spycraft" was *my* phrase, not AEG's, and in the context of what's written above from the Spycraft hardcover, I'm not sure now if that's acceptable.

There is an AEG e-mail address for a contact person in that section of the Spycraft hardcover for questions concerning the use of OG content in your own works, but once again, I don't have the book with me right now :) I'll find it and post it later.
