Spycraft meets Dark Angel

The following version assumes that X-5 do not only base their strengthes on their racial abilities, but also on some advanced combat training. The stats are for an completely untrained Transgenetic. These stats aren`t realistic, because all Transgenetics are "Hero Characters".
Anyway, the fact that the term X-5 applies to a group of transgenetic implies that their genetic material is similar enough to considere them as "one" race.
(Though it is difficult to transfer sci-Fi descriptions to real Life interpretations back to a Fantasy setting. :) )

D20 Stats for X-5:

Maybe, Max could be presented as a X-5 Rogue, perhaps using the following statistics (25 point buy, without any bonus stat deployment)
Str 15, Dex 17, Con 12, Int12, Wis10, Cha14
Over the time, the following extra feats might fit:
Alertness, Stealthy, Improved Unarmed (or using the old Starwars d20: Martial Artist Feat), Combat Reflexes (Expert Tactician?), Dodge, Mobility, Spring Attack

But, at least last time I watched the series, Max is stronger than any normal human, and her reflexes are faster than any human too... Str 15 Dex 17 doesn't do her (or other trained X5) justice, IMHO...

Most humans have Str or Dex Score from 10-11. Hey, most humans Max encounters are Commoners, Warriors or Experts. They gain only 15 points for their ability scores. :)

Don`t forget that Max is also very well trained, as I said, she will have some Rogue levels (from their recent life. The X-5 Training might include some Fighter or Ranger levels)

(Hmm, what levels might she have? Rogue4/Ranger4?)

For the Reflexes Thing: Improved Initiative seems to present this will. You might consider adding Lightning Reflexes. (Remember that she as a base of +3 to her reflex saves from her Monstroid Humanoid origin :) )

Yep! it sounds more and more like the race entry for X-5's should be "only this race can take PC classes"

No, not really, I think. :)

Well, considering that Logan did some "heroic" things, I would think he is also a PC classed character.
As is the guy that had trained the X-5 and tries to get them back.

Both characters don`t have many levels or "combat focuses" stats, but they are certainly above average.
The guy whith this "limb amplifier trousers" probably acquired some class levels...

... and the first time he was shot he finished in a wheelchair.
I think he has no character class. He is a fairly high level Expert.

In fact, I like the idea of most of people not having character classes, only NPC classes...

Hmm, a low level mechanist/noble that is beeing shot in a surprise attack by trained combattants (high level warriors)?
I am not surprised about the results. :)

I think the foe were low level thugs, and that saved Logan...

He is an expert, a medium level expert ;)

Here's your magic item, quit whinning you gimp!

And the coolest stuff he did in the finale relied on the fact that he had half an exoskelton for his legs.

"Oh, okay you can get some bionic stuff, but I've got to balance out by putting you in a wheel chair so you don't outshine the X-5 players."

Rough DM.
