SRD to be updated with ELH rules!

The SRD is being updated to include material from the Epic Level Handbook, Urban Arcana, and a bunch of errata (mostly for d20 Modern and UA). I've been promising an epic SRD for a long time and I'm sure people were getting irritated with me for continually delaying it so I'm very pleased it's going up now.

Unearthed Arcana will be almost 100% Open Content (the only exception is a couple of iconic monsters and rules involving them). It's a very cool book, by the way.

Expanded Psionics will go into the SRD, but of course that won't happen until after the book is out (and I have time to write the SRD).

As noted in Andy's message, they should have gotten the material posted since last year, but for some steenkin'(!!!) reasons, Wizards' web team sure take their time to get around.

Why Wizards didn't start they layoff with them first, I'll never know. I guess if you pissed them off, they'll get back at them by hacking the web site.

Oh, very good - blame the web team, who most likely have nothing to do with the decision. That's actually in the hands of Charles Ryan and the other people at the top of WotC, especially the legal team.

The update is also 3.5E compatible - the material has been converted to 3.5E

This is most likely the reason for the delay: they wanted to convert it, but didn't want to do so until the revised 3.5E rules were finalised and released.

There are also a new d20 System Guide and other things.

Notable changes to the guide:
* You may no longer use "Player's Handbook" in a d20 Product's name
* You may no longer use "Core Book" or similar in a d20 Product's name or subtitle
