I am glad to see you disproving the wild media assertion that gamers are a violent breed of people with respect to real life actions.

Incompetent writers abound, but I should note that an extra warning that things do not stack does not mean they ordinarily stack, while a special note that things do stack more often does imply that they normally do not stack. In general, 3.5 is against the stacking of similar things; you might call that a broad principle. If you have to make a quick guess, guess against stacking.
