I ran an adventure the other week where one of the items was a Staff f Striking. These weapons were quite common in BECMI adventures where you could spend 1 charge to deal an extra 2d6 damage.
So one of them was an an adventure and I handed it out without thinking to much about it iun a treasure horde.
5E staff, +3 weapon, 10 charges that recharge.
Oops.
Long story short a 5th level monk (Shadowdancer) now has it. I'm not to fussed about it if he got it a few levels early. I just told him don't expect anything new/better for the next 10 levels.
