Star Wars Colossal AT-AT Mini

Just wondering if there was any interest in this. At $50, it seems a little steep for casual gaming.

Does anybody have any idea what the marketing concept behind this is? Are they trying to compete with action figures, or are they trying to see if they can sell something bigger than Huge?

Any idea if there is a possible larger-than-Huge option coming for the D&D mini line? Dragons come to mind as an obvious pick.

It's a pretty safe way of testing the market for such huge minis (as weird as it may seem to call the AT-AT mini). Star Wars has a built-in fanbase that makes the product not such a huge risk, and if minis gamers buy it well enough, it means more products like it should be on their way.

Star Wars minis are huge at my friend's store in Puerto Rico, and I am 99.9% sure at least 5 of these will be sold before anyone can blink.

I would LOVE a colossal red dragon. I'd put it on my desk at work facing anyone who comes to talk to me. :)

I wonder how big that battlemap is that comes wth it, considering the size of the mini itself.

Edit: Also, I just looked over the Star Wars mini gallery for the first time and I have one thought coming away from it. I want to play a Hailfire Droid in SWd20!
