Ouch!
I used the system suggested in the Star Wars d20 Revised Core Rulebook to generate my character's height and weight, and she came out as a real Wagnerian soprano: 170 cm tall (5'7") and 89 kg (over 196 lb).
The system only generates height to the nearest decimetre (four inches). It only generates weight to the nearest 10 kg (twenty-two pounds).
Three out of every sixteen (nearly 19%) human male PCs are less than five feet tall.
6.7% of women are less than four feet tall. 62.5% of women are less than five feet tall.
The average man is 170cm tall (5'7") and weighs 105 kg (231 lb). His body mass index is over 36, which puts him into the 'grossly obese' category.
The average woman is 150 cm tall (4'11") and weighs 74 kg (163 lb). Her body mass index is almost 33.
I know the system in optional and unimportant. But surely if it wasn't worth the effort to do better than this it would have been better to leave it out altogether.

Agback
