"Tortuga. You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy. We must be careful."

"Fast ship? You've never heard of the Interceptor? She's the ship that did the Kessel run in less than 4 parsecs."

"So, Sparrow, we meet again. When I left you, I was but the first mate. Now I am the captain."

"A sailor named Barbossa, who was a mate of mine until he became a pirate, helped the Black Pearl hunt down and sink your father's ship. He betrayed and murdered your father."

I think it's more a case that, as one of my friends mentioned, Star Wars and Pirates are really both fantasy movies. It's just the setting that changes.

"First mate, tear this port apart until you've found that coin. And bring me its owner, I want him alive!"

I like the old term pulp, it was what it was know before, during the days of Flash, Tarzan, Buck, and so many more, it has come back around. They don't explain the science, just show it. :)

I agree with Hong's friend, and tell people myself that SW is just fantasy in space. It's your stereotypical fantasy story, but instead of people in a Middle-earth like setting it's in space.
