Star Wars Saga/D&D 5th Hybrid [OOC/Rolls]

Thirteen has Electronics so he can Help, maybe cutting on the time instead of gaining advantage on the roll?

The gand could also help dissassemble the 'spare' droid with his/her Mechanichal toolkit.

She only had to use one HD so she probably did not need to take the 'Long Rest' equivalent, so with just a Short Rest I would allow her and Thirteen to work on the war droids while the rest of you were resting "more" (or more restful ;) hehe).

It would still be a jury-rig 'limitations' though. In Saga it was +5 to the DC to jury-rig something and after a 'scene' the jury-rigged device lost whatever fixes you provided. So with one Hour of Jihahna and Thirteen would make a Tools (Mechanic) check of DC 20, with Advantage. If they succeed the restore one of the droids to 1d6 + whatever they rolled above a 15 in Hit Points. After the scene (depending) it will be broken again.

Sounds good Greenkarl

Ok, so i missed the advantage thing initially, then i was like, 'oh, bummer, will need to spend a force point' as my score was 15.

Rolled 7 for the force point, then saw i had advantage, rolled it for 22!

So I probably don't NEED to spend the force point per-se, but if I WERE to use the point, would a result of 29 potentially be enough to actually do non-jury rig repairs and a factory reset, maybe get the droids targeting parameters reset? Or would that be too big a job? Basically Greenkarl, with a roll of 29, like a kid who has found a lizard in the garden, i'm asking: 'Can we keep 'im?!?'

If not, no problem. I think we should either:

A: utilise its long range against the sith
B: have it engage in melee with the Gands remaining explosives strapped to its back.

Or

C: Have it positioned behind us, facing the stairwell, ready to auto-fire on any remaining imperial troops.

Cal is going to pick up a blaster sniper rifle. It puts him just over his encumbrance, so he'll drop either it or the carbine whenever combat starts.

Oh. Greenkarl. Is it ok if i change my level-up from Jedi to Force adept? I meet the prerequisites and was thinking of:

6th lv feat:
Double attack
Force adept 1st lv talent:
'Attune weapon'

Is it possible that I could spend a force point on attuning my blaster rifle even though I will not gain the +1 melee benefit from attuning it? I mainly would like to be able to give it the 'parry' property so that i can parry sith lightsabers with my shooty weapon.

Maybe i would need to attune both the blaster rifle and the vibrobayonet at the cost of two separate force points?

If you're ok with me changing it, i'll get it done quickly.

I'm not entirely clear on the droid's operations: can we just order it around like a normal droid or do we need to input commands in some way? If the later, how far away can we be to do so?

Oh, and what was the ruling on recharging our power packs? Yay or nay?

Jihahna needs to make a Tools (Slicer) check (with advantage because of the pirate slicer advance kit) base DC 15. That will allow Jihahna to issue it basic commands (come, attack, guard, etc.) but for each +5 over it will accept more complex ones.

Also yes if Jihahna wants to take Force Adapt and make her blaster empowered sure. NOTE I did change one thing, even without Gun club talent a rifle will do 1d6 in melee. You could spend 2 to get the rifle and bayonet also.

As for recharging clips, Jihahna can try to jury rig something with a DC 15 in 15min time
