Star Wars Saga/D&D 5th Hybrid [OOC/Rolls]

I wouldn't do the bonus action thing. Since we're potentially making it easier to recover from reeling, just having the check at the beginning of the round I think covers enough territory, with the caveat that they can still use their action to roll again, which is effectively Advantage on the roll. Basically, the feat allows you to potentially ignore the effects of reeling. Or, appropriately enough, to shake it off faster than others.

Like this...

Shake it Off, Prerequisite: Constitution 13+. You make your recover vs. the Reeling condition at the beginning of your round, not at the end. If you fail you can still use your action to try and recover on your turn with Advantage.

Cool. Jihahna doesn't have any stealth abilities, so she's not too concerned about taking scout armor if it will better fit someone else.

She will look over and tweak Cal's armour for maximum comfort and check his new scope is correctly aligned with his permission (unless he just took the entire rifle?).

She will offer to remove the other scope and put it on the Gand's carbine too.

She's happy for the Gand to take the scout armor and will assist in order to adapt it.

If some adaptations need to be made later, that's fair enough.

I think the Gand already has Scout Armor.

Trooper Armor gives you a 15 ARS (versus Scout Armor's 14), but it caps your Dex bonus at +2. It does come with a slightly higher Fort Defense bonus, but also has the Stealth disadvantage.

I wasn't sure if the scope was removable from the sniper blaster or not. If it is, the sniper blaster seems like kind of a poor weapon. No autofire, same damage as a blaster rifle or carbine, plus you could just mount a scope on a regular blaster rifle and have a superior weapon. I feel like the sniper rifle should have an additional or larger damage die to compensate for the lack of autofire. I figure for now, we can leave whatever gear we may want to bring with us here and grab it on the way out, assuming we come out this way and/or have time to do it.

Yea to remove the Sniper rifle's scope you are going to need more then an hour and probably a shop (like on your transport). I can see it also having higher damage dice (3d10 instead of 3d8) but having less shorts... maybe 20

So, because scout armour is base 14 reflex defense, Jihahnas total is 14+((Heroic Class level/4, round up +1)=3)+ (Dex bonus=3)=20

Fort defence is base 10+ ((Heroic Class level/4, round up +1)=3)+ (Con bonus=2)+ (Soldier Class fort bonus=2) +(Armour bonus=+2)=19

Damage Threshold=19

If reeling, her attempt to recover equals: (Con bonus=2)+ (Soldier Class fort bonus=2)= +4 to the roll

Just a minor thought on simplifying a rule, I know this weakens things slightly, but maybe the rule '+Heroic Class level/4, rounded up+1' should just be replaced with your proficiency bonus?

Wait, GreenKarl does the ARS replace the defense bonus that every heroic class gets or the specific ones granted by class? In other words, does ARS replace a 5th level Scout's flat +2 Reflex bonus from class or the +3 bonus that comes from being a 5th Level character? I was under the impression of the latter, for some reason.

I agree with Sezarious, it should probably simply be referred to as Proficiency bonus since they are the same calculation.

Re the gand's recent IC post, the idea would be to bypass the battle droids' brains and remote-control one/both of their bodies from the slicer kit, probably at the end of a brace of connecting cables or something? (Star wars doesn't seem too big on wireless :)) Would this be possible, GK?

And the gand has indeed been wearing scout armor since the very first day. His/hers is under her poncho and robes, so it's not as obvious (although clearly her boots and forearms are armored)
