Star Wars Saga/D&D 5th Hybrid [OOC/Rolls]

If I tried making a Telepathic Link with Kacela without talking to her first, would it do anything (like a phone ringing)? Or does she have to be open to it?

Because I can link my mind with hers so I can speak with her while I'm following the other guy, but she'd have to be willing. I'm trying to determine if "Willing" can simply mean he tries to form a telepathic link, and she has to accept or deny.

On that note, would Kacela be open to letting a perfect stranger, even one she's heard of, link his mind up with hers without first talking to him? He does appear to be a Jedi, and it's possible for her to recognize him as such.

I would take a smoke grenade or two!

Just a head's up. I've taken a new job and will be moving across country in a couple of weeks. I am currently doing a ton of housework in preparation for the move, so I don't have as much time to post at the moment. I should be able to get in during the evenings and post, but if I am holding things up, feel free to autopilot me.

Soz about the delay. Busy mon and tues plus battling an early flu. Saw the Jihahna and gand conv wrapping up. Fair enough as things are progressing. Will post a closed conclusion to conv from her end.

Hmm its noted in the description that it is "open to a willing ally" I kind of feel that this means you have to at least know the person. I suppose you could try and Kacela would feel that someone was trying to touch her mind through the Force.

If you are wearing your lightsaber out in the open then there is a good chance she will recognize you as a Jedi... almost no one else uses them.

I expect, given what we've experienced on the world so far, Kacela's reaction to seeing someone with a lightsaber (but whom the Council had said nothing about) would be to attempt to sense you in the Force, and see if you were Dark Side. If not, she'd accept a telepathic contact...though would be confused about why you didn't just walk up and talk to her. :)

But if you were concealed, she'd find that pretty suspicious.
