I'm thinking about buying the gand a droid (would fit with the "communication with machines" theme). Ideally some sort of hovering camera/recon droid, probably. Even better if it has a sensor pack built-in.

Is there a secondary droid market on Dathomir, GK? The equivalent of the Jawas maybe, or a general flea market that might or might not include a droid somewhere in there?

Well Droids are pretty universal so sure.

Just a quick google search on prices found me this Site which lead to this one for 4,500 (I assume new) 87-RM Scout Collector Droid which is a floater.

You would need to make a Charisma (Gather Information) check to find such a place. This would probably be an independent, non-Czerka market as it were.

Just as as a reminder, the team has had A LOT of interaction here on the planet. You beat up a bunch of mine workers when you first got here. You saved a bunch of miners from grasping spiders. You fought off a bunch of pirates at the spaceport. Reks and Kacela were using lightsabers in all of these battles. This Gand befriended most of the mercenaries after saving Targo. Cal is a bit of a local hero saving many of the wounded and dying miners from the spider attack and when the big mining camp was destroyed by the worm. You also saving some other miners from being sacrificed to the worm by Degraded Rakatas.

So while you have only been on the planet for couple of months you have had a big impact on it. Most everyone probably at least recognizes you NOT saying they don't have something on the ship but anyone good at gathering information in a bar could have gotten a lot of info about your team

Oh yeah, definitely. That's what Kacela is assuming actually. She doesn't really think the ship is bugged.

In fact, she suspects that the 'second Jedi' these guys are talking about is actually Reks, and that their data is a bit out of date. If they're going on secondhand information like that, it'd make sense. Most people who have heard of us wouldn't be up to date on Reks leaving, or Jihahna carrying a lightsaber.

Yeah, I figured #2 Jedi was Reks. Which made me think their information may not be 100% up to date. If they're expecting Reks and we explain away his absence, perhaps we could say someone else left. Figure it might allow us a chance to set someone up as an ambusher in case things get nasty.
