Question, how close am I to the closest merc? In hindsight I think maybe I should invest in some kind of blaster

Right now 50 meters... yep Jedi can be rough without a ranged attack

The other thing is to get Range Force Powers also

They will be within 12 meters (your base move) within 4 rounds if you want to wait...

Can I actually try climbing into an ambush position in a tree, then wait for them to move closer?

Sure it would be an Strength (Athletics) test and you would need a new Dexterity (Stealth) check to remain "hidden"

Here's a force point if I have one: _: 1D4+1 = [4]+1 = 5
Luck was finally with me!

You had 6 to start with and you have used 2 so far...

You re-set your Force Point pool to 6 when you raise to 3rd level.
