I'm just glad it's not an MMO.

Here's hoping they go "out" with SCII rather than "in" like WCIII. Not that I didn't love WC3, but I want more units and bigger battles.

Have you seen any of the trailer yet? Check out the Artwork Trailer and look at the swarms of zerglings attacking. It seriously looks like a swarm of termites flooding the area. I think you will be getting bigger battles. Much bigger.

Unfortunately I fear I now need to start saving for a new computer. My current machine can't even manage to play the cinematic trailer without problems, and Warcraft III was pushing it hard when it came out. There is no way it will be able to handle this one.

Check out the gameplay videos if you havent yet. Some 'old' units got significant upgrades, turning them into new units (Dragoons>Immortals). We have new units for every faction. Old units each get significant upgrades (Check out the 'Rolling Bomb' mode for Zerglings). If the Mothership is any indication, it looks like superunits are in too.

Might I add, that Mothership is ALL kinds of cool.

Just checked out the gameplay footage on youtube. Damn if that Protoss mothership isn't a killer. In fact, I love all of the new Protoss units, especially those Tripods.

Then again, the Protoss have always been my fave, since they're undoubtedly the good guys of the Starcraft Universe. With the Zerg being evil bastards and the Humans falling squarely in between.

Yeah, I'd be very surprised if my iBook will pass muster--it ran WoW but only just. The first update of the MacBook Pros after Leopard is released will be very hard to resist.
