Wait, where is Mark, isn't he supposed to do these things? ;)

Glad it is on this week, I might miss the Atlantis opener next week.

So far, so good, I think I know what the black hole is supposed to do, but no spoilers until it's over.

You might want to go ahead and edit the title to include spoilers. That those of us who have seen it can spill our gleeful guts out.

I have to say it was a pretty good episode. I wish they hadn't just left the Baal plot thread dangling, or that maybe the two threads would have collided, but it was still pretty good. The best part was when Jack wakes up and says, "What did you do with your hair T'ilk?" and then a some seconds later asks him again. I am going to miss Jack, he is the best part of the show.

Overall the episode was pretty good however, the end had parts which were downright stupid. Minor ones, but still stupid.
Spoilers follow:
When jack is offered the one start he wavers and comes up with the dumbest line I've heard in the series -something along the lines of I've been opposing the man for all my life, now I'd have to be the man. What a load of crap. The man is a Airforce Colonel. There is no bloody way he'd make it that far bucking authority. This sounded like some rubbish you'd hear at a rally a Berkely. I could understand a bit of introspection before taking on command, but this just sounded asinine. Also the Carter Replicant was a bit too predicable.

Maybe so but I think it does height the possibility of making the replicators more leathal. I also think we might yet see a Replicator/Gou'ald hybrid in the works. That's my theory for the end of this season

I liked these eps. While it wasn't the best it's far from the worst. And with Atlantis coming it helps bring the show closer to some resolutions. Also...

I don't trust Rhaede/the Guo'ald guy. I think he's plotting something.

I officially dub her name "RepliCarter."

Loved it. Plenty of great stuff in this for the premiere. Though, as usual O'Neill got the best moments.

"Hey, this is cool! I can do just about anything!" *lights flick on and off* :D

Fifth is quite disturbing. He's like a child... a very powerful and cruel child. And I'm guessing he still has the time dilation device, which makes it even worse.

Gotta wonder how much we'll be seeing of the Goa'uld who stayed at the SGC.

My biggest disappointment is that it looks like the next episode is a generic Monster of The Week show. Oh well.

My hunch about the black hole was right on.

I did wonder why the Camulus dude looked so familiar. But I wonder, why are all earths mythological pantheons, except the Norse, evil?
