Um, there is a thread on this which has not only not left the page, it's like 6 or 7 posts down.

Actually No, that thread is about the release date for the book! There has one or two posts in that thread about impressions but that's it. I was hoping to stir up a little more interest and find out other opinions!

What werenot allowed more than one thread on Stargate SG-1 but a dozen on AU is just fine?

Just letting you know. Sorry to offend you by suggesting it might be to your convenience to join an existing thread that, while it did not start out being about that subject, the latest posts quite certainly are about the subject you posted and for which you won't have to wait for people to reply to get an answer to your question.

I got it while I was at Gen Con. My first impression was it should have been OGL only and not d20. My second thought was it appeared to have a vast majority of the book taken up by a season to season history of the series. As a fan, I did not mind this but some might. It is a mighty thick and expensive book and I have not gone through it all yet. It does do an excellent job of giving you the full history of the show. I have not delved into the rules much yet though.
Presentation, as always with AEG, is top notch.

I'm glad to hear about the detailed season to season guide.

I've tried to follow the show, but the Sci-Fi channel does a really lousy job of showing it. So I've only seen it somewhat haphazzardly.

I GOT IT! I GOT IT! :D :D

*waves book around at those who don't have it yet*

Man is this book cool. No alignments (first thing I checked). Six core classes, six prestige classes. The character generation doesn't really begin till chapter 5, and there are a ton of feats and options. Heck, in the back there are even guidelines for how to combine a Stargate game with a Dragonstar, Theah (7th Sea), and a couple of already established games.

It's well worth 50 bucks.
