Going to get started.

Ok,

I have captured sheets for Morphain, Uri, Adal and Buckler. I ended up using an excel spreadsheet to capture all the details. Since the characters will be travelling a lot I will be watching character loads. One house rule that I will be using to make things a bit easier to manage is as follows: Backpacks hold 50lbs, Belt pouches hold 8lbs and coins are 50 per pound. I have allocated gear to the backpacks that your characters are carrying to determine "free space" which I will list.

Since I don't think I will be able to post on the weekends as I have "office" access to the net I will be posting the first turn tomorrow morning (I am at GMT +2).

Cheers,
Marius.

Free space for characters.

According to my records I am going to allow the following free space:

Character Backpack Pouch
Morphain 26.9 16
Uri 26 0
Adal 29 8
Buckler 23 0

Appearance: Aronsetash is a tall monk clad in simple, lose garments of light brown, kept clean and tied with white sashes. His dark brown hair is cut short for practicality, and he has green eyes and tanned skin. His angular body is well-muscled and in peak shape, and his movements are quick and precise.

Bio: Aronsetash grew up in a monastary dedicated to the Path of Light, the faith of almost all Kalashtar. His mother was a teacher in the monastary, and was responsible for raising him, for his father was often on the road. He crusaded against the Inspired with a group of Kalashtar men and women for years, and won many victories against them before he was seriously wounded in a battle and lost much of his strength. Aronsetash found it difficult to accept the change in his father from a confident martial artist to a quiet, bedridden man with barely the strength to dress himself. Aronsetash vowed to build his own strength and take up his father's mission when he had the skill. The Kalashtar of his monastary advised against it for the sake of his still-respected father, who would lose his greatest source of willpower if his son was killed. Aronsetash was adamant, though, and when his training was pronounced complete, he left his home for Breland, where he hoped to find companions worthy to join him in a new campaign against the Inspired.

So this is the party-2 Kalashtars, a Warforged, a Changeling and a Shifter. Sorcerer, Monk, Soulknife, Barbarian and Artificer. This will be interesting, to say the least...I just hope people don't get injured.

Ok... now what?

Just kidding,

Thanks Ringmereth for the character sheet.

Just a couple of things I have been thinking about after looking at the FAQ.

1. This is my first attempt at a PBP game so please be patient with me if I seem to do things out of the ordinary.
2. I will create a new thread in the "playing the game" forum, I think this is where the "game" should go. This thread can remain for out of character discussions.
3. When characters are speaking in the game could we make the font colour blue and any other information can be white.
4. If anyone thinks that a situation might warrant it they must state upfront if an action point is to be spent. If the roll is good then the point won't be used but if the roll is bad then I will take the action point into consideration.
5. Lastly I have been looking around to try and find a good way to "roll" dice but so far have not found anything that is really good. For a start I will roll all dice (trying to use the suggestion from the FAQ) but if anyone has a better suggesstion I am open for ideas.

Cheers,
Marius.

PS: I will post a link to the new thread shortly...
