I'm just posing it as question. I don't intend to implement it in my current game. However I would instead offer them choices like this as modular things. Like Lingering injuries, if they wanted there to go relatively "hardcore" with the game.Sounds like a lot of effort for little return. How long do you spend in the levels 1-2. I find that these go by in a couple sessions and then everyone is level 3- problem solved. Have you spoke with your players about a big change like this?
