Breaks Games
Bah! Last night I went out for a few after work beers with my coworkers. Last thing I recall is walking back towards the station to get a train home... about 9:30 ish.

Next thing I know I'm waking up in A&E. Had gotten a vicious beating, been knocked out. Some kindly students had got me to hospital. A night of observation later and I get let out.

Sprained wrist, concussion and a tenderised looking face. Just what you want from a friday night?

Typing one handed and annoyed at the punks who did this. Even if I can't recall them.

I need to move to a better country!

What's weirder is they didn't even take anything. Strange?

:D Sorry just trying to cheer you up. Hope you get back to normal soon. You might not remember who did it to you, but their karma will get them in the end, so don't worry.

That's awful! I hope you recover quickly and that your assailants pick on one of those little old men who is really a grand-double-mega-master of kung fu and he twists them all into pretzels.

They didn't even take anything? That's good in a way, but it also sounds like the sort of sick, sadistic people who get their jollies out of beating someone up just for the heck of it. They really need to be locked up for a long time.

So, A&E is Britain? I'm guessing you didn't wake up on a cable TV channel...

Awful news Inconsequenti-AL. I just don't get people that think roughing people up is a good way to go. Not that I condone muggings, but really - won't most people just turn over their wallet and stuff without the need to actually physically harm them to the point of putting them in the hospital?

Hope you start feeling better soon!

Heh. :D

Think I might have to print a copy of that off and leave it lying around at work!

Thanks for the thoughts guys. It's one of those things - happens now and again and really isn't pleasant! Ah well.
