I was watching various news channels Tuesday hoping somebody would mention it but those pesky primaries were all the rage, except for Attack of the Show on G4, (except that channel is teh suck). Attack of the Show mentioned it but when I read this thread I stayed up late last night just to watch the Colbert tribute, (I missed the first airing).

A seldom known fact is that Colbert was a D&D player in his youth, with a partiality for the Lord of the Rings. It is not as publically known as Diesel's love. Though the tribute was helped by his writers, I'm sure Colbert placed the seed for the dedication and I love him for it.
