Stomp?

If he´s next to a prone dude, he gets one stomp attack per round as a free action that causes 1d6+strength mod damage. Later it improves somehow...

Exactly what I was just going to propose on the House rules forum... I don't suppose you could post what it says in more detail...

One way to do it could be that you have a move which allows you to Pin an opponent who is prone with your foot. This would be exactly like a normal Pin, except that you may use melee weapons against the creature you've pinned without penalty (still gaining the bonus to hit it for being prone), but if the creature succeeds its grapple check to break the pin, it breaks free of the 'grapple' entirely....

I was thinking of this ability also, and escaping the foot pin would require a successful grapple or escape artist check. The stomp would be a move equivalent action, and possibly used against those on lower ground (but unable to pin). This gives the ability to do a 'kick in the head' to someone below you as a free action without provoking the stupid AoO for an unarmed attack. Imagine, a feat that allows you to kick someone behind you on the stairs in the face just like the movies! :p I suppose the only prerequisites would be 2+ legs.

Naw, just go Duke Nukem 3D styles and Mighty Foot that shiot.*

Personally, I don't like any form of attack being made as a move-equivalent action, unless it's controlling a spell or something like that. I would probably make it a bonus attack made at the start of a full attack.

*I hate to ruin a joke by explaining it, but in DN3D you could press tilde to do a 'Mighty Foot' attack, kicking with your left foot even while you were holding a weapon. For fun, you could set your primary weapon to be a right-footed kick, and then do Mighty Foot and attack at the same time. I was rather impressed by Duke's ability to turn corners with both feet in the air.

Yes, I have a Thunderbeast clerical domain worked up, as well as extended stats for Sauropods that specialize in Stomping and Tail-Whipping on my site.

Stomping is one of the things I tried to have my half-orc cleric of Uthgar do well.

I can detail my experiences and feats/spells if you want later.

Well, I think I am working something up and hope to post it today or tomorrow in the House rules for your viewing/yoinking/commenting pleasure.

I'll post these Stomper specials detailed tomorrow.

Stomper: prerequs 3 feats (Power Attack, Close-Quarter Fighting and something else), half orc or orc, strength 14+, con 15+, Perform 5 ranks.
Stomp, level 3 ability:
when you're adjacent to a prone enemy at the beginning of your turn, you may attack him once (it should say once per round) as a free action for 1d6+strength mod...
Improved Stomp, level 9 ability:
2 free stomp attacks.

Hmm, as written, you could attack everyone who'se prone next to you...

Thanks Darklone. I think I will be revising it a bit for my own use as it seems a little...well...unrefined. Hope to have it by tomorrow so you can throw your own suggestions at it.
