Ordrar follows the group and since he started earlier he is just a little bit closer to the ettin. But he is also encumbered by more weapons and armor. He drops his hammer and pulls out hand ax, throwing it as he goes toward the ettin.

Even as he nears the brute, he throws another one and hammer shimmers back into his hand.

[sblock=Actions]
Free: drop the hammer
Move: toward the ettin - don't forget, he moved last round too - if he can do melee, he would prefer it to axes (but I need to re-roll)

Attacks: (disadv if further than 20 after full move)
Axe throw; potential disadv., axe damage: 1D20+7 = [15]+7 = 22
1D20+7 = [13]+7 = 20
1D6+4 = [4]+4 = 8
1D20+7 = [5]+7 = 12
1D20+7 = [2]+7 = 9
1D6+4 = [3]+4 = 7

Does compelled duel count as the creature being charmed? If so, the ettin rolls with advantage.

"Come back here, both of you!" yelled Aremus after the Ettin, then he fired his bow in quick succession while chasing after it.

OOC: Aremus will run forward and cast Compelled Duel (dc14 Wis Save) with his bonus action. If he can get within 30' of the Ettin in a single move, he'll use his action to shoot, otherwise he'll Dash to get close enough for Compelled Duel.
Arrows (if he has the action): [roll0] for [roll1] and [roll2] for [roll]1d6+3[roll]

Compelled Duel - Concentration, Bonus Action - A creature you can see within 30 feet must make a Wis Save. On a fail, for 1 minute, the creature has disadvantage on attack rolls against creatures other than you, and must pass another Wis Save to move to a space more than 30 feet away from you. The spell ends if you attack any other creature, or cast a spell that targets a hostile creature other than the target, if a creature friendly to you damages the target or casts a harmful spell on it, or if you end your turn more than 30 feet away from the target. (V)

Aremus: Your magic works and the large creature immediately turns around and starts heading towards you.

Ettin Save: 1D20+0 = [11]+0 = 11

The enemy lifts battleaxe and a morningstar, swinging both at you.

Ettin Attacks: 1D20+7 = [17]+7 = 24
1D20+7 = [12]+7 = 19

Ettin damage: 2D8+5 = [8, 6]+5 = 19
2D8+5 = [2, 7]+5 = 14

Rest of the party: Let me know if you'd like to use the attacks you rolled before or to ignore them for the compelled duel. Leaping over to where the ettein is would be an athletics or acrobatics check. Fistan, for example, jumped with all his might and is now hanging out in a puddle with a few pigs.

"We're here for you, Aremus. Let us know if this becomes too much." Tranio watches the huge creature stalk towards his companion. He does not fire at this time.

OOC: Ordrar would not throw, but would close in from the other side and engage in melee. No sense in letting Aremus get beaten once the creature has nowhere to go.

"I... I may have bitten off more than I can chew. Feel free to aid me, my friends. The more the merrier." coughed Aremus after narrowly avoiding being killed by the Ettin's oversized weapons. He threw down his bow and drew his rapier and lunged, ducking to one side under the Ettin's arm. He thrusted again and again.

OOC: [roll0] for [roll1] and [roll2] for [roll3] and if one of those hit, he'll smite! [roll4] extra damage.

AC 15 (no shield); HP 19/52; Slots: L1 3/4; L2 1/2

Keeping his distance from the Ettin, Tranio hears Aremus' call for aid and fires.

OOC: Post 1188 had a 25 to hit and 14 damage, but I think we're in a new round now, so:
Action: chill touch. [roll0]. If a hit, damage = [roll1] necrotic. Range 120'.
