D&D (2024) STORMBREAK: A TARKIR ADVENTURE & THUNDER OVER FORSAKEN ISLESA FORGOTTEN REALMS ADVENTURE

I bring these two Magiccon adventures to Your attention because I believe 1. That they may in fact be related and 2. The first adventure is likely connected to the October Surprise.

First I believe the Storm the Forsaken Isle is bringing in the Dragonstorm from Tarkir and that the Isle is a manifestation of a connection to the MtG multiverse, a bridge of sorts, and that the Dragonstorm is the magic that brought it to Faerun some how.

And to my second point Tarkir has been the top choice of many, maybe most of the MtG & D&D fans. So now that a Tarkir set with multiversal implications is coming in the spring, it makes sense to do the Tarkir setting book (or a broader Blind Eternties setting book including Tarkir) now.

And the new Tarkir adventure strongly hints at this. I'll be curious if we see more D&D Tarkir crossover at other magic cons this year.

Oh a Tarkir adventure for DnD? Thats exciting news, Id love to see Tarkir translated from MtG and bringing a bit more "Eastern expansion" to DnD

The Forgotten Realms Adventure sounds like the DMG description of the Isle of Dread as a sort of Elemental "Domain of Dread" wandering the Multiverse.

Doesn't sound related to the Tarkir Adventure, but I do think a "Blond Eternities Cpmpanion seems plausiblstill for October. A general Magic multiverse companion with Magic specific mechanics would allow MtG fans to use whatever lore drops come along for their campaigns, and veing the older MtG books into line with 2024 rules.

They seem connected because of the Tarkir adventure description

" In the aftermath of a destructive dragonstorm, you and your party find yourselves cut off from the rest of your Mardu clanmates"

Which follows the other adventure saying
"carrying daring adventurers intent on saving the shipwrecked and discovering the secrets of the island itself. Learn what dangers lurk there and what manner of magic has brought it here."

They read like two sides from the same incident
