Abyssal Dragon Lord
The abyssal dragon lord is discernible by its ability to transform into a dragon of darkness, known as an abyssal dragon, a demon dragon, or a drakith. This form combines the fearsome strength of a dragon with the faultless might of a demon, creating a truly formidable creature that the abyssal dragon lord can call upon the power of as they please. Although the powers they wield are quite evil in nature, some abyssal dragon lords achieve a balance of forces, utilizing their powers for helping in dire situation. Regardless of their allegiance, an abyssal dragon lord is capable of utterly annihilating their opposition effortlessly, with speed and efficacy exceeding dragons or demons. When creating an abyssal dragon lord, consider how you obtained such powers. Did you experiment upon the corpse of a dragon, combining its body with the essence received from a fallen demon? Perhaps you uncovered an ancient ritual crafted by cultists of old in an attempt to create the most evil creature of all? Is your power a result of pacts with multiple deities, culminating into an unopposable force? The power of an abyssal dragon lord is not one that can be developed by the typical mortal, so ensure that you elucidate the method with which you obtained your powers.

All of the following are class features of the abyssal dragon.
Weapon and Armor Proficiency
An abyssal dragon is proficient with all simple weapons and light armors but not with any type of shield. She is also proficient with the natural weapons of her Demon Dragon’s Form.
Demon Dragon's Form (Su)
An abyssal dragon is capable of transforming into a demon dragon form by harnessing the unbridled darkness of demons and the fearsome strength of dragons. She can take the form of a demon dragon form to acquire new abilities and become stronger. Her equipment merges into her new body upon transforming. While transformed, she gains the following benefits:
- +4 size bonus to Strength and a +2 size bonus to Constitution.
- +4 natural armor bonus.
- fly 60 feet (good).
- Her size becomes medium.
- A primary bite attack that deals 1d8 base damage.
- 2 primary claws attacks that deals 1d6 base damage.
- Resistance to electricity 10.
- Resistance to acid 5, cold 5, and fire 5.
- +4 on saves against paralysis, poison, and sleep.
- She require all four of her limbs to walk, and she cannot wield weapons or utilize items that require manipulation, such as tools or spellcasting foci.
As a demon dragon form, she can use a cone breath weapon of destructive dark energy as a standard action every 1d4 rounds. Creatures within a 30-foot cone centered in front of her must make a Reflex saving throw. The DC for her breath weapon is 10 + ½ her abyssal dragon level + her Constitution modifier. On a failed save, they suffer 1d6 profane damage per abyssal dragon level and become blinded for 1 round, or half as much damage and no additional effects on a successful save. The transformation lasts for a number of hours equal to her abyssal dragon class level + her Wisdom modifier (minimum 1), and she may split the duration of this ability however she wants. Each use of this ability uses up at least an hour of its duration, regardless of how long she stays in it. An abyssal dragon retains her ability to speak while in dragon form. Changing shape is a standard action. An abyssal dragon can end her Demon Dragon’s Form and resume her normal form as a move action. Demon Dragon’s Form counts as the wild shape class feature for prerequisites, as well as for feats, traits, and options that modify or improve wild shape. This is a polymorph effect.
Dragon Empathy (Ex)
An abyssal dragon can improve the initial attitude of a dragon. This ability functions as a Diplomacy check to improve the attitude of a person. The abyssal dragon rolls 1d20 and adds her abyssal dragon level and her Charisma modifier to determine the wild empathy check result. The typical dragon has a starting attitude of unfrendly, while evil dragons are usually hostile. To use dragon empathy, the abyssal dragon and the dragon must be within 30 feet of one another under normal conditions. Generally, influencing a dragon in this way takes 1 minute but, as with influencing people, it might take more or less time.
Dragon Senses (Ex)
An abyssal dragon gains darkvision 60 ft. (or increase any darkvision by 30 ft.), low-light vision and scent. She see four times as well as a human in dim light and twice as well in normal light.
Mutation Training
An abyssal dragon counts her class level as druid levels for the purpose of qualifying for feats, traits, and options that modify or improve wild shape. An abyssal dragon who has levels in druid, or any other class that grants wild shape, counts her levels in those classes as abyssal dragon levels when determining the damage of her breath weapon, its saving DC, and how many times per day she can use Demon Dragon’s Form. The abyssal dragon can takes monster feats (like improved natural armor) and feats that have as a prerequisite to be a dragon.
Drakith's Sustenance (Su)
Beginning at 2nd level, whilst transformed, an abyssal dragon can consume the body of a deceased creature. The time required to do so is contingent upon their size in parallel to her own after transform; a creature with a size equal to or less than her size requires only 1 minute to fully consume. A creature of one size greater requires 5 minutes. A creature of two sizes greater requires 10 minutes. A creature of three sizes greater requires 20 minutes. A creature of four sizes greater requires 40 minutes. An even greater creature requires 2 hours. Upon consuming the body completely, she restore a number of hit points equal to her abyssal dragon lord level, which is then multiplied by a number based on the size of the creature (Small or lesser= ×1, Medium = ×1.5, Large = ×2, Huge = ×2.5, Gargantuan = ×3, Colossal = x3.5, Higher = x4), rounded up. Additionally, following the utter consumption of the body, she no longer require food or water for a number of days that is contingent upon the size of the creature (Smalle or lesser = 1 day, Medium = 3 days, Large = 6 days, Huge = 10 days, Gargantuan = 20 days, Colossal = 30 days, Higher = 120 days).
Abyssal Might (Su)
At 3rd level, the abyssal dragon hit points maximum increases by 9. Each time her level increases, her hit point maximum increases by 3. Additionally, the abyssal dragon natural attacks deals a bonus profane damage equal to 1d4 at level 3rd, this increase by 1d4 every four levels thereafter.
Defensive Instinct (Ex)
At 3rd level, when unarmored, not using a shield, unencumbered, and conscious, the abyssal dragon adds her Wisdom bonus (if any) to her AC and CMD. If she is wearing armor or using a shield, she instead adds half her Wisdom bonus to her AC (minimum 0). In addition, the abyssal dragon gains a +1 bonus to her AC and CMD at 4th level. This bonus increases by 1 for every 4 abyssal dragon levels thereafter (up to a maximum of +5 at 20th level). These bonuses to AC apply even against touch attacks and when the abyssal dragon is flat-footed. She loses these bonuses when she is immobilized or helpless. These bonuses do not stack with the monk AC bonus class feature.
Wild Strike (Su)
At 3rd level, an abyssal dragon’s natural weapon attacks are treated as magic weapons for the purpose of overcoming damage reduction. At 5th level, her natural weapon attacks are also treated as cold iron and silver for the purpose of overcoming damage reduction. At 7th level, she selects one of the following alignment components: chaotic, evil, good, or lawful. She must select an alignment component that matches a component of her own alignment (a neutral abyssal dragon can chose any alignment component). Her natural weapon attacks are treated as the alignment component she selects for the purpose of overcoming damage reduction. For instance, a chaotic good abyssal dragon who selects good treats her natural weapon attacks as good-aligned. At 11th level, the abyssal dragon’s natural attacks are treated as if they had the ghost touch magic weapon property. At 16th level, her natural weapon attacks are treated as adamantine weapons for the purpose of overcoming damage reduction and bypassing hardness.
Bonus Feat
At 4th level, and every four levels thereafter, an abyssal dragon gains a bonus feat in addition to those gained by normal advancement. These bonus feats must be combat feats or feats which have wild shape as a prerequisite.
Improved Demon Dragon's Form (Su)
At 5th level, the abyssal dragon control over the darkness has enabled her to improved her demon dragon’s form. While transformed, she gains the beneficts of Demon Dragon's Form with the following differences:
- +6 size bonus to Strength and a +4 size bonus to Constitution.*
- +6 natural armor bonus.*
- fly 90 feet (average).*
- her size becomes large (long) and has a space of 10 ft. and reach 5 ft. (10 ft. with bite).*
- the bite attack increase his base damage to 2d6.*
- the claws attacks increase their base damage to 1d8.*
She can chose, for the power branded with *, to utilize the base demon dragon’s form ability instead of the Improved (if she select a previous form, all abilities with * must be of that form).
Expulsion of Sin (Su)
Beginning at 6th level, as a full-round action, the abyssal dragon can force a number of creatures equal to her abyssal dragon level within a 10-foot radius per abyssal dragon level centered on herself to make a Will saving throw with DC 10 + ½ her abyssal dragon level + her Charisma modifier. On a failed save, she afflict each creature with a sin, the GM’s is the one who decides which is the greatest sin of the creature:
- Greed: The creature becomes avaricious, causing them to lose their turns if they are carrying any treasure or currency, as they become focused on hoarding it. If they are not, they must expend their turns attempting to find or steal valuables from the creature closest to them.
- Gluttony: The creature becomes voracious, causing them to squander their turns by attempting to consume anything edible. If they are exhausted of edible items, they attempt to bite and consume the nearest creature.
- Lust: The creature becomes fascinated by the abyssal dragon and cannot make any actions. If they are within 5 feet, they attempt to doff the abyssal dragon equipment with a CMB check.
- Envy: The creature becomes envious of the abyssal dragon, causing them to suffer a -4 penalty on all rolls whilst they can see her. They will not target any creatures other than the abyssal dragon amidst this duration.
- Pride: The creature becomes exceptionally conceited, causing them to squander their turns by admiring their form. If they are attacked, they expend their round by charging at the assailant and attempting to kill them. During this movement, they do not heed any dangers, such as traps and ledges.
- Wrath: The creature is filled with bloodthirsty ire, causing them to expend their turns by attacking the nearest creature. If no creatures are present, they will destroy any nearby objects and structures, with preference for objects that they are larger than them.
- Sloth: The creature becomes languid, causing them to become dazed.
These effects remain for 1 round per abyssal dragon level. Each round, as a free action at the end of its turn, the subject may attempt a new saving throw to end the effect. The abyssal dragon may utilize this feature at will, but once a creature successfully save against this ability, he is immune to them for 24-hours. This is a compulsion and mind-affecting effect that ignores any immunity evil creatures may possess against it (such as the undeads).
Area Breath (Su)
At 9th level, as a full-round action, the abyssal dragon while in any demon dragon form, can use her breath in an area of 30-foot radius centered on herself instead of a cone. The abyssal dragon does not suffer any damage.
Quick Change (Su)
At 9th level, the abyssal dragon can transform into her demon dragon form as a move action. At 13th level, she can transform as a swift action. At 17th level she can transform as a free action, even if it is not her turn, even in reaction to an attack (as long as she is able to take actions). For example, if the abyssal dragon is stabbed and the damage would knock her unconscious, she may choose to transform as a free action. If the additional hit points are enough to prevent falling unconscious, the abyssal dragon remains conscious. However, if she was attacked in a surprise round before she acted, she would be unable to take this free action.
Greater Demon Dragon's Form (Su)
At 10th level, the abyssal dragon control over the darkness has enabled her to improved her demon dragon’s form. While transformed, she gains the beneficts of Improved Demon Dragon's Form with the following differences:

- ferocity.
- damage reduction 5/good.
- increase the resistance to acid 10, cold 10, electricity 30, and fire 10.
- increase the bonus on saves against paralysis, poison, and sleep to +8.
- spell resistance 11 + abyssal dragon level.
- The breath weapon damage increase from d6 to d8.
She can chose, for the power branded with *, to utilize the base or Improved demon dragon’s form ability instead of the Greater (if she select a previous form, all abilities with * must be of that form).
Laser Breath (Su)
At 13th level, as a full-round action, the abyssal dragon while in any demon dragon form, can use her breath in a line of 60 foot to which she can give the shape she wants (even 90 degree curves).
Maw and Claws (Ex)
At 13th level, as a full-round action, the abyssal dragon while in any demon dragon form, can make a special attack. The abyssal dragon can attempt to overrun any creature that is at least one size category Smaller than herself. This works just like the overrun combat maneuver, but the abyssal dragon does not need to make a check, she merely has to move over opponents in its path and does not provoke attack of opportunity. The abyssal dragon make the bite attack and the 2 claws attacks: she make only one attack roll for each attack; any creature in the path whose AC is equal to or lower than the result is hit by the natural attack.
Resilient Form (Ex)
At 13th level, the abyssal dragon more closely identifies with the dragon form she assume. Spells and effects such as true seeing cannot tell that she is polymorphed. When viewed with true seeing or similar effects, while transformed, she appears as her dragon form rather than her normal form. Any effect that prevent her from transforming or that would force her to change back into her normal form automatically fails.
Exemplar Demon Dragon's Form (Su)
At 14th level, the abyssal dragon control over the darkness has enabled her to improved her demon dragon’s form. While transformed, she gains the beneficts of Greater Demon Dragon's Form with the following differences:
- +14 size bonus to Strength and a +8 size bonus to Constitution.*
- +12 natural armor bonus.*
- fly 160 feet (clumsy).*
- her size becomes gargantuan (long) and has a space of 20 ft. and reach 15 ft. (20 ft. with bite).*

- the claws attacks increase their base damage to 2d8.*
- the wings attacks increase their base damage to 2d6.*

- while using the ferocity special quality, now she is not staggered.
- the damage reduction increase to 10/good.
- the bonus on saves against paralysis, poison, and sleep becomes immunity.
- her resistance to electricity becomes immunity.
- The breath weapon damage increase from d8 to d10.
She can chose, for the power branded with *, to utilize the base or Improved demon dragon’s form ability instead of the Exemplar (if she select a previous form, all abilities with * must be of that form).
Limitless Power (Su)
At 14th level, the abyssal dragon, three times per day, can decide that her breath weapon deals maximum damage, rather than rolling damage.
