He currently has

• Imp Augment Summoning +6 Str/+6 Con for Summoned Creatures
• Improved Initiative
• Spell Focus (Conjuration)
• Greater Spell Focus (Conjuration)
• Scribe Scroll
• Extend Spell
• Quicken Spell
• Transdimensional Spell

I'm toying with Widen Spell (nice for Cloudkills, Solid Fogs etc...)

We can take feats from most of the WotC splat books and Eberron books.

How about martial study feat from bo9s for some really out there. Could come in handy ni a pinch (imagine the look on everyones faces when you jump ove an opponent, smash him with a searing striky of fire and dart forward 10ft avoiding an aoo) :D

Hm. Maybe Imbued Summoning from PHB 2? It's metamagic, increases the needed spell slot level by 1, and has you automatically use another spell of 3rd-level or lower on any creatures you summon with the metamagicked spell. Though the imbued spell has to have a range of touch, like Mage Armor or similar, probably making Haste out of the question. Not sure what else might be good from CArc or CMag or LoM.

Maybe something from Complete Mage - that's got lots of nifty feats.
There's reserve feats - as long as you keep a certain spell in reserve you get a constant ability - fireballs, short-range teleports, an elemental at your side

Dimensional Jaunt - short range teleports as standard action
Summon Elemental (Constant elemental small, medium or large depending on which spell you reserve)
Fiery Burst - spell level d6 fireballs

Also
Metamagic School Focus - metamagic costs a level less a number of times / day
Residual Magic - tactical feat with several powers, including using a spell twice with metamagic applied, but only paying the extra levels once.
Retributive Spell - cast it and hold it til someone hits you, then they get it up the wazoo...

Cloudy Conjuration from Complete Mage. You get to make enemies sickened when you summon creatures. Flavor-wise it fits gloriously with an Alienist.

We rarely have more than one or two combats a session/day. So the ability to do something weak consistently, isn't going to be that helpful. Since my character only rarely runs out of stuff to cast.

As far as Meta-magics go, Shilsen does let us apply the MM spontaneously (Spell lv + MM adjustment can still only be no higher than max spell level you can cast).

Alacritous Cogitation (Complete Mage)
Leave one spell slot open and you may cast any spell you know of that level or lower. Casting time is increased to a full-round action. You may only do this once per day.

This is good for most any wizard since it allows you to be Johnny-on-the-spot, something Wizards aren't usually good at.

Cloudy Conjuration, already mentioned, is also a great choice for you since you'll be using it all day long.
