Personally I think it's too low. A ring of evasion, after all, costs you 25,000 gp.
Given that improved grab and constrict are both monster abilities (close to being class abilities), I'd say they're each 25,000.
In short - this is a very, very effective item you're suggesting, and it's cost should be in line with that.

I'm glad that I'm able to have help on this, thanks everyone.
Rings are no more expensive than any other slotted item that gives a bonus.Dareoon Dalandrove said:I looked and looked and couldn't find anything, I wasn't sure if it was printed in some book that I didn't have though. 25,000 though seems a bit high though. Rings on a whole are more expensive than other items because they're small and you can wear two at once.
No it's not. Constrict damages whenever you win a grapple check - when your opponent tries to escape for instance, or when you pin him, or when he tries to draw a weapon. It's really nasty.I also think that constrict is a linked ability with improved grab. Constrict is just a name applied instead of just damaging your opponent.
Then take constrict off it's list of abilities. For these abilities I thought of it like this: if it was just a mundane armored claw and I enter into a grapple, and win subsequent rolls, I would have the opportunity to damage my opponent. One of my hands is a metal claw. I thought it would be natural to just clamp down on my opponent with the claw. My line of thinking was that if you've got them in a grapple and you've got a claw, which IS how you damage your opponent.
