So there is an exception to the "weapons and shields thing" and things like the KENSAI (Complete Warrior) class that can make their hands into Flaming, Impact +4 weapons also bring a new question to this I would think.

You can't sunder a kensai's hands, unless the Complete Warrior provides a specific exception the the Sunder rules like the hydra does.

No, you can't sunder someone's hands. That's why they take the feat for Improved Unarmed Strike, or play a monk. It'd be pretty unfair for someone who took IUS to have his hands/feet 'sundered', cos he just pretty much wasted a feat, no?

I mean, one person take Improved Sunder to not provoke an AoO when sundering; that means that almost anyone he faces will lose a weapon/shield/item whenever this person uses his feat.

The only way to counter it is to use unarmed strikes/natural weapons. Allowing natural weapons to be sundered makes Improved Sunder an unbalanced feat, cos there's no stopping it...

And imagine if he took Combat Brute!!

That's a bad argument... the guy who took a Weapon Proficiency feat has also wasted a feat if his weapon is broken and he's killed. Also, the monk can get his hands regen'ed as the fighter can go replace his weapon.

But no, no sundering... though called shots never hurt.........
